Inklinometer vertikal di tempat terutama digunakan untuk mengukur pergerakan lateral internal struktur, seperti longsor yang mungkin terjadi pada lereng yang tidak stabil atau pergerakan lateral tanah di sekitarnya pada lubang pondasi, serta deformasi lateral bendungan, terowongan, dinding terowongan, kaison, tiang pancang dan turap, bendungan, dan tanggul jalan. When foundation pits, slopes, foundations, bridges and buildings are deformed or the ship’s mooring platform is tilted, the inclinometer probe will be tilted accordingly, and the lateral displacement or inclination can be accurately measured. Installing multiple inclinometers in the tube can make it accurately monitor the lateral deformation of structures.
