Ruang uji hubung singkat baterai pengatur suhu digunakan untuk menguji apakah baterai akan meledak dan terbakar ketika resistansi tertentu dihubung pendek pada suhu tinggi, dan pada saat yang sama menampilkan arus hubung singkat maksimum melalui instrumen yang relevan. Selama pengujian, suhu permukaan sampel tidak boleh melebihi 170°C. Setelah pengujian selesai, sampel harus menjadi produk yang memenuhi syarat tanpa fenomena dekomposisi, retak dan kebakaran.
